The Rakes / Reaxion
Take a note of the name of this band. Soon you'll hear about them again and again, so be prepared, as you're going to be hooked. You may as well start looking out for them, now. I've seen them twice this year. The first time was at Østkyst Rock 2001, where they really stood out, and were deservedly rewarded with a third place in the competition.
The second time I heard them was at the Mulik talent show in September 2001 at Teaterbygningen, where they did a fantastic job. I've never seen a band being as unlucky as they were. Even things that usually can't, went wrong for them. The concert involved a broken bass-string, broken amplifiers and electric shocks. Still, with their talent and the singers charm (She's an amazing front figure and singer !), they finished a really good concert, and I'm sure that several people thought the problems were part of the show.
Spring 2006 - They have changed their name to The Rakes and now have a new singer.
