Another local all new band, though three of them played in Delaque, who took part in the Østkyst Rock shows of 1999 and 2000. They formed the band last autumn, and after a few temporary names finally decided on the name Versus.
To begin with, they were not fully sure if they should play their own or cover-songs. When they heard about the Køge Bands 2000 CD, they decided upon the popular Pearl Jam style, but mainly based on their own music.
They were opening act at the second of the two Køge Bands concerts in January 2001, and were quite impressive, particularly when you consider how "green" they were.
Most of the bands, incl. Versus, played at Køge Bands 2000 again in June 2001, but sadly this concert seemed to be the end of the road for them.
