I was at Silverstone for the second time that year, this time hoping to see Jan actually race, as I had had to leave after the practice, when I was there in the spring.
It was the last round of the championship. There were some delays due to the rain, but in the end it was decided that there was to be a race. Thank God for that, because otherwise I would never have seen the passing manoeuvre below. It was wet everywhere, the ground, the air, the track, our clothes, noses, bu..., everything. Still, when we went home we knew why we do this and even pay for it.
