Cleanhead Phil Speat

While in Prague in October 2004, I went to one of my favorite places there, Red, Hot & Blues, a restaurant with live blues every night.

I'll never forget this evening with Cleanhead Phil, and two local guys on piano and bass. I'd never heard of him before, but it was blues at it's best - simple as that - upright piano, bass and a guy who could sing and play on anything. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was having a great time. I'll never forget his version of Little Red Rooster !!!!! - if he'd been more laid back, he would have been upside down :-)
