A legend who needs no further introduction........
I remember standing backstage, in a long line, with some of the other employees at 5-øren, awaiting his arrival. When the tension in the air indicated he was about to enter, there was complete silence and everybody held their breath. At the time, it was the closest we'd been to having God (NO offense !!) at 5-øren (Poul Kjøller came a few years later (Only the Danes will get that joke !)). In came a smiling and charming gentleman, waiving at us and saying "Hello", just like my grandfather would have done.
Then people started breathing again. It was magical...........
